Killing Yourself Softly
fighting and struggling
against all the odds
in contol trying not
to be God's God.
so I ask for guidance
to help you deal with
the pain and sorrow
that you refuse to feel.
I sit and I watch
the choices you make
my heart's torn in two
with what is at stake.
let me tell you,my love
the consequences are costly
as I can no longer watch
you killing yourself softly.

This one is pretty powerful and clearly written from a deep concern and sadness for someone.
I like the idea that you didn't capitalize the beginning word but put a period at the end. No capitalization gives me a feel of being or arriving in the middle of something that has been going on for awhile before I get here and the period is more like a hope or a promise for an end to it.
Only the poet really knows!
